InHomeAccountants is a marketplace that connects freelance tax professionals and bookkeepers with their next client using an auction model. Once freelancer and client are connected, platform handles the timesheets, billing and payments. My main responsibility was the admin panel of the platform. Frontend is written in React and it's backed by a Ruby on Rails API. We used Stripe to bill the clients and Stripe Connect to remit the payments to freelancers. We also integrated with Checkr service to perform background checks and Calendly to schedule interviews with potential freelancers.
